Big Game for First Match on ESPN3

Georgia Tech volleyball is set to host the eighth-annual Georgia Tech Classic this weekend at O'Keefe Gymnasium. The Yellow Jackets open the three-day tournament on Friday night against North Florida before Saturday matchups with Georgia State and Evansville, and conclude play on Sunday against South Alabama.

This year's tournament will be the first to stream on ESPN3 as part of the ACC Network's streaming platform, making it more accessible for fans to watch Yellow Jackets volleyball. The broadcast can be accessed via ESPN's website and mobile app with either a cable or streaming service subscription that includes ESPN3.

Tech Rolls into Home Tournament

The Yellow Jackets enter the weekend with a 15-6 record, including a 4-1 mark in ACC play. Tech is currently receiving votes in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll, and is ranked 15th in the NCAA RPI. Georgia Tech has won five consecutive matches and has not lost at home this season.

The Jackets' offense is led by sophomore outside hitter Mariana Brambilla, who is averaging 4.21 kills per set. Sophomore middle blocker Kayla Kaiser is also a key contributor, averaging 2.86 kills per set and hitting .405.

Opponents To Watch

North Florida, Georgia State, Evansville, and South Alabama all come into the tournament with sub-.500 records but are capable of pulling off an upset.

• North Florida (8-10): The Ospreys are led by junior outside hitter Abbie Hughes, who is averaging 3.91 kills per set.
• Georgia State (10-6): The Panthers are led by junior outside hitter Brianna Barksdale, who is averaging 3.64 kills per set.
