Oakland A's outfielder Tommy Kim is expected to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL.

Kim was injured while fielding a ground ball in the fifth inning of Saturday's game against the Texas Rangers.

The A's are currently in last place in the AL West with a record of 45-89.

San Diego Padres pitcher Yu Darvish threw a complete game shutout against the Chicago Cubs on Friday night.

Darvish allowed just four hits and two walks while striking out 10 batters.

It was Darvish's first complete game of the season and the 12th of his career.

San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. returned to the lineup on Saturday after missing the previous two games with a hamstring injury.

Tatis Jr. went 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in the Padres' 5-4 win over the Chicago Cubs.

The Padres are currently in first place in the NL West with a record of 83-51.
